Coming to CNSMD Lyon via an international mobility

The Conservatory offers foreign students the opportunity to benefit from an international experience by attending part of their study cycle in Lyon for a given time; an opportunity to expand their artistic, professional and personal universe by having an international experience, while benefiting in this context from a different pedagogy and environment.

All courses offered by CNSMD Lyon are accessible through a mobility stay thanks to inter-institutional agreements with partner institutions within the framework of the Erasmus + programme or via a bilateral agreement. While traineeship mobilities in the Erasmus + framework are possible, in general these requests cannot be accepted at the CNSMD de Lyon.

To be noted for studies mobilities :

• Most courses are taught in French. A minimum B1 knowledge of French is therefore very strongly recommended even if it is not required for your mobility stay to be accepted.

• CNSMD Lyon offers weekly French language courses to non-French speaking students in a mobility program or regular study cycle at the conservatory. These courses are free and take place within the conservatory. A level test at the start of the year allows students to be divided into groups based on their level (from A1 to C1).
